Negg Sweeper - http://www.neopets.com/games/neggsweeper/index.phtml (3 difficulties, easy, medium, hard. It's pretty much like minesweeper but with neggs. The most mines u can have around any one square is eight. In easy it only gets up to four, medium six, hard eight. In easy you start out with a jackpot of 100 points, medium 200, hard 300. each negg that is not a mine is worth 1 point in easy, 2 points in medium, 3 points in hard. If you clear an area, you get the points for those plus a bonus for clearing a large area(points vary based on size of area cleared). There are also secrets neggs that are worth anywhere from 3-? amount of points(I'm guessing a fish negg would be the max). There is no limit to how many times you can get neopoints from this game. Destruct-o-Match - http://www.neopets.com/games/destructomatch.phtml (The ratio is 1NP = 2 point; there are only 4 levels. If you clear every block, you get a 500 point clear level bonus that will take you all the way through the game. Max neopoints per game should be around 2500 or so. If you are new to NeoPets.com then this is site for you. When I first started, I was SOOO Lost! NeoPets was a far more complex world than say MosterRancher or even MonsterRancher 2.
IMPORTANT: NEVER GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT NAME AND PASSWORD TO ANYONE!!! EVEN IF THEY CLAIM THEY ARE TRYING TO PREVENT HACKERS FROM GETTING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT. DON'T BE FOOLED!! If you get a suspicious email, immediately report it to abuse@neopets.com.
For those that just want to have fun:
Neopets.com is a cool place for kids and adults to hang out. There are puzzles and action games to play with; coloring books in the Faerieland; and you can even teach your pet new things. You can also open your own virtual shop and sell the items you buy from the computer and sell them high in your shop. You will also get a chance to dabble and learn some simple HTML for your pet's page. This Neopian world can be as complex or simple as you would like. It just depends on you! If you want to keep it simple, then just play a few games here and there so you can earn some NP to purchase some cool books or food for your pet. Or you can become rich and thus train your pet to battle other pets in the battledome! Or you can become a Neopian Millionaire (which of course, takes much more work!)
SOUP KITCHEN: But to begin, I would visit the Soup Faerie to stuff up your pet while you still qualify for the Soup Faerie. If you have 1000NP, you are disqualified. So to click on "shop", then click on the white road signs which says "marketplace", then go to the little hut that looks like a soup pot. (http://www.neopets.com/soupkitchen.phtml)
Getting your way into Faerieland: Choose "explore" and click on Faerieland. Follow the directions explicitly so that you can get your Faerie Totem. Once you have the Faerie Totem, carry it with you and go to Faerieland again. How to be a Neopian Millionaire
Now to begin, if you want to be a rich Neopian you must first understand the driving forces behind this virtual world - which is the same as the driving force for the world => NeoPoints (money). The best way to earn NeoPoints (NP) is by being a shopkeeper (which means you buy from the computer at low prices and sell high to other players). Or you can earn money from the Neodaq, the stock market of the NeoPets virtual world. You can buy and sell stocks with your NeoPoints. This is very risky and hard, try the Neodaq when you fully explore the world of NeoPets.
If you decide to shop in NeoPets, notice how each time you purchase an item from the computer, you are notified of the current NP Inflation (which I'm sure is based off the trend of the Neodaq). (TIP: Whatever the computer offer is, always bid in at half the price. For example, the item is 100 NP, always bid at least 50 NP. This gives you margin to bid up. And yes, the computer merchant does get angry and stops bargaining with you).
Next, there are many links in NeoPets and to survive, you must learn to navigate through this virtual world. (TIP: And while you are navigating, there is no better game than the Treasure Hunt game to force navigate you through this virtual world.) When I first started the treasure hunt game, it was extremely frustrating, because I had no idea where anything was. But the cool thing about this game is it NEVER ends. Not until I finish going to ALL the links. It took me THREE days to end the game, but by the time I finished, I have learned a LOT about NeoPets & I also got a prize for all my hard work!
